Hiatus Notice and New Materials

I must say that this is a very belated entry. I believe most readers have not seen anything new on this blog for a long while.

Basically Blitz! is having a one year hiatus. Most of us are experiencing major changes in our lives: Licia is A-leveling, Daolin 'ORDed' and starting NUS, Aaron just started NS and Melissa is starting JCU. Thus things are temporary put on hold with regards to the group til the end of 2008 which gives us each a year to rediscover our vision and directions for Blitz!.

Along the way, we have been writing new songs and hope to carve ourselves as an original A Cappella group with a unique sound and approach to a cappella music. So do look out for new materials on this blog near the end of 2008.

TAG-Nique was a great experience for us, and we hope you liked it too!

A very special thank you to Mr Oh, and TAG, without whom, this opportunity would not have landed on our laps.

Also, thanks to those who came all the way down to lend us your support. It is greatly appreciated.

Have some photos, but haven't really had the time to upload them yet. So I'll just post one for now...

Concert with TAG @ TAG-nique

Okay, Blitz will be opening TAG's (Temasek Acappella Group) concert for their second half in their first full a cappella concert at TMSS called TAG-nique. It would definitely be a night of entertainment and fun for all ages.

Hey all,

We've recorded the rest of the songs and mixed the songs le. It should come out really really soon. Thanks to all those who have supported us in this album in one way or another. The album is going for $10 for 6 tracks. This will also help raise buget for our first debut album of originals. And we really appreciate all the support. THANKS!

Yes! Blitz! is going to do a recording today for the Xmas album 2007 and the webbie. The songs that we'll be doing for today is Travellin Soldier for this website and First Noel and Silent Night for the Xmas album. Hope we'll sound good... Wish us all the best. Ciao.
